    This place is great; but this is more a COVID times review - the takeout experience. Food on the whole was very good - and well packaged. We ordered via Uber Eats, so the prices were probably a bit more than walking right in, but we bought during a promotion and did pickup, so we probably saved a few bucks. We had an appetizer mix platter, a few meat skewers, garlic naan and butter chicken. The pakoras were a bit on the salty side, but everything else was pretty good. The samosa seemed familiar, not sure if they make these themselves. Same goes for the naan - oddly familiar in size, shape and texture; reminds me a lot of a popular franchise we frequent in the 7 & 404 area - guessing they get them from the same distributor. As opposed to say, a place just down the street from here, where you get the sense they probably make their own in the tandoori oven. The meats were fantastic! Well seasoned, cooked well, juicy... no complaints at all. The butter chicken was good, not as creamy or sweet as some others, but nicely seasoned, and just the slightest amount of heat. I'd happily order from here again - especially the meat skewers - so good!

    We walked in quite late, but the owner still welcomed us and prepared the food quickly. Samosa, biryani, garlic naans, etc. Everything was hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. We are Cantonese, so we didn't order sth fancy or with strong flavors. The seasoning was perfect for us but not sure about other ethnicities. There was only one waitress, but she could still manage everything efficiently with courtesy. We wondered why the ratings were so diversed. The restaurant is great, at least for single table dine in.

    I attended the York Regional Cricket Association annual awards ceremony on December 7 and the food and service were excellent. This venue will always have my recommendation.

    For my office year end party, we booked this place, and oh! what a great time we had. The service is great and we loved the hospitality of the staff. The food was tasty and served all the guests well. Definitely consider ut for your small event, they can accommodate upto 150 people.

    We visited this week and had quite a good experience. The food we ordered was tasty and delicious. Found the veg. Dewani handi is a bit spicy but nonetheless, it was pretty good. They would adjust the spice level according to your taste. You can also find no garlic and no onion options on certain foods.

    Best fish tikka I’ve ever had. Dine-in food is unreal. Definitely drop in for some amazing food. Their Dhaba chicken is fantastic as well.

    I recently visited Chauhan’s Fine Indian Cuisine & Banquet, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The buffet spread was generous and offered a great mix of traditional North Indian dishes, flavorful curries, fresh naan, and a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everything tasted authentic and was served hot and fresh.
